If I were to say I had just one strong point, I guess it would be that I have the ability to communicate with people explaining the visible truth of a situation without adding personal preference.

The bulk of my education has been in the electrical field. I am a thirty year member of the IBEW, a master electrician in WV and a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. I have had (NFPA) National Fire Protection training for safety related code issues and attend over fifty hours of home/safety and condition education offerings annually to stay abreast of industry trends.

Education and experience to inspectors is as important as location is to the real-estate community and purchasers. Six years of hospital engineering, designing patient care areas and maintaining the facility have given me a tremendous advantage in education and experience as it relates to safety. To date I have completed over 4000 fee paid inspections using the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for the National Association of Home Inspectors. I am comfortable with my abilities and know when to call in a professional for a condition that I do not understand.

Honesty, Integrity and experience are key issues to determine when selecting the right inspector.
